The Four Star Mat:
THE DESIGN
The design of the Four Star Mat allows harmful gases to escape, so that the mats do not raise as high as most other designs. This design keeps the blast in the hole and keeps the mat closer to the ground.
STRONG & DURABLE
The Four Star Mat is strong enough to keep the blast in the hole while weighing approximately 20 to 25 pounds per square foot, can be handled with a backhoe.
DOUBLE CLAMPED CABLES
The 5/8 inch steel core cables make our mats rugged and strong. We double clamp the cables at the ends of the mat for easy maneuvering and handling.
RUBBER BODY
Our mats are made with rubber tire sidewalls and treads, which deadens the noise, absorbs the shock of the blast and protects the blasting caps.
